ARE YOU PAYING TOO MUCH FOR VIDEO PRODUCTION?

There are a lot of choices when it comes to finding a production company to help you with the creation of your corporate videos. One thing that is a constant across the board is that they all want to get paid! HOW they want to get paid is the x-factor. Most production companies, especially as you get into higher end productions, have itemized costs that can add up in a hurry. Director fee, Producer fee, day rate for the cinematographer, day rate for sound, kit rental for his or her equipment, hourly rate for the editor, and so on. Before you know it, you’re looking at a mid-five to six-digit figure to have a solid, 4k video at your disposal, and don’t even get me started about trying to make a modification to that video down the road. Even more costs!

At White Whale Pictures, our approach is a little different. We charge an all-encompassing, per finished minute rate that takes care of all of that in one simple package price. Script assistance, videography, sound, editing, music sync rights, deliverables, storage…all in once cost. It simplifies the process for you and keeps you from getting a shock when the final invoice is delivered. Let’s be honest, creating a high-quality video for your employees or customers can be daunting enough, so why complicate it any more than necessary?

We work with you to estimate the length of the video, take a 50% deposit based on that length, and then prorate the balance in 15-second intervals. No hidden costs, no surprises. For example, let’s say we decide together that we expect the video will run about ten minutes. We take a deposit for five minutes. If it turns out to be eight minutes, we charge you the balance for three minutes upon your final approval of the project. Boom, done. As an added bonus, we’ll even make two modifications to the video as part of that price. Simple and stress free.
